Dress to be comfortable! We have no dress code but with the movement that is required to dance you will want to wear something that will not restrict your range of motion. At Dancenergy you will see jeans to dress slacks and shorts to dresses. Whatever you choose please dress respectably.

Please wear a pair of non-marking shoes to protect the dance floor. Leather soled shoes are recommended. Sneakers are allowed but may present a challenge when performing turns and pivots. Dance shoes are best but are not required.

Please keep all food and beverages away from the dance floor.

Dance Etiquette: The flow of the dance is in a counter clockwise direction around the dance floor. The center of the floor is for beginners that have not yet learned to move around the floor or the dancer who is doing the swing while others are dancing the foxtrot. The outside lane of the floor should be used by the more advanced dancers. As you have progressed in your dance lessons you will learn to travel around the dance floor.

Videography or photography are not permitted at dance classes or dance parties. If you would like to tape yourselves doing a step pattern we will make time for you to do so.
